Fiordaliso

Casale La Torretta’s Fiordaliso (Cornflower) is a large double room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The size of the room makes it perfect for hosting a small family with an additional bed.

Cornflower is an herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. Typically annual, it sometimes enjoys a second year of flowering. The scientific name is Cyanus segetum, deriving from the Greek yanosor κύανο, which means “substance of dark blue colour”. Cornflower is widespread in the Mediterranean basin. It has a particular stem from which few delicate leaves spread with a fluffy appearance. The inflorescence at the top of the stem is an intense blue color. The cornflower is a symbol of lightness and sweetness.
